My story.
I grew up on a mixed farm in rural Manitoba. It is there that I cultivated my down-to-earth, practical approach to life. People often describe me as even-keeled, non-judgemental, accepting, and easy-to-talk-to.
After completing my physiotherapy training at the University of Manitoba, I worked in a private clinic for 4 years. During that time, I recognized that there was something more going on behind my clients' physical complaints. And honestly, I got tired of taking a "band-aid" approach in helping clients; I wanted to help them deeply heal.
So, I began my quest to understand the root cause of my clients' complaints. I certified in Acupuncture for Physiotherapists, Bowen Therapy, Low Intensity Laser Therapy, Advanced BodyTalk, NLP (Neurolinguistic Programming), Enneagram Personality System, and I dabbled in Positive Psychology.
What I realized, and what all these methods agreed on, is that stress is the #1 contributing factor to any illness, condition, or imbalance.
I thought, "Ah-ha! I have to help my clients decrease their stress! ...um... What exactly is stress?"
In 2017, this question brought me California, to the HeartMath Institute. They have over 33 years of research on stress, resilience, emotions, and optimal performance. I certified as a HeartMath Trainer so I can teach people on-the-go tools to conquer stress and build resilience, in a group format or in a one-to-one setting.
Thirsty for more empowering tools for my clients, I completed my certification in Clinical EFT/Tapping, which I would call "The Ultimate Stress Management Tool". I love the fast, long-lasting results my clients now see in their mental, emotional, and physical well-being.
And my clients love it, too!

Well, it's because I didn't name my business after me; I named it after you.
I don't claim to be 'the' expert on stress. Instead, it is my mission to make you your own stress expert, adding you to the group of people, just like you, who now have the tools and skills to regulate their emotions, conquer their stress, and take their life to the next level.
